How I discovered alcohol inks
When I was growing up I was never considered an artist or even "artistic".
I could copy a bit and my Mom was always telling me how artistic I was but, she was my Mom for cryin' out loud so what did she know anyway. (and I couldn't draw from my imagination so I certainly couldn't be artistic) so I just confined myself to salivating in art supply stores wishing I could use all those luscious supplies.
It was only when I ended it up in graduate school for my Masters in early childhood education and I took a summer semester of the required "Art for Kids" that I discovered the joy of art. I loved the calming, meditative feeling painting gave me and I fell in love with art...
One day I was scrolling through the mixed media books in my library online(because that is the type of art I got into) and stopped, riveted......

I was transfixed.
