This piece looks totally different from what the artists Andrea Gomoll did, but the basic steps were the same.
I pushed gel medium through stencils and let it dry.
I then took liquid watercolors (I only had golds and coppers) and let it flow over the whole page.
She used 3D materials to create flowers, so I went to my cabinet to see what I had to use. I found these gold strings that you use for gift boxes so I formed them into flowers and glued them on. I figured I may as well stay with the metallic motif.
Continuing with the 3D idea, I finished it up with some dimensional paint.
I love the way the dimension shows up on the flowers, very cool!
This is really beautiful in the subdued rich warm colors.
