The activity that Jamie did was quick and easy. She covered her page with material pieces, gessod over it  and painted an eye on top of the gessoed page. I glued down pieces of material as well. (I used a palette knife to do this.

I then painted a layer of gesso on top of the material.

And then drew a butterfly and painted in parts of it. (The top picture is the completed one where I added final touches.
