Expressive landscape paintings are when you just paint by basically keeping to the landscape scheme without trying to make it realistic with in color or in detail.

We did two types of expressive paintings as some of the women had expressed an interest in doing some painting so we tried these.

I have loads of landscape reference pictures so either the women chose  a landscape to copy and tried to copy their image as best as possible OR they painted their background with color and they drew over a simple tree with leaves for a tree landscape.
