Alcohol Ink Markers
(Doodlng)

Alcohol ink markers can be used on any non porous surface. They are great for fixing up alcohol ink pieces and there are many different brands. Sharpies are also alcohol ink markers.

The same way you clean up watercolors with water, you clean up or move alcohol inks and alcohol ink markers with alcohol.

In this case I used a piece of Kirkland photo paper. I cut it in half and colored on both sides. Can you tell which one is the shiny side? (it's the one on the left)

To use alcohol inks with this paper you need to use the matte side only but, when coloring feel free to use both sides.

I found that coloring on the shiny side showed the colors as more vibrant but, coloring on the matte side went a little smoother.

I made sure you use the same colors for both pictures so it ties it together. These particular markers are artsy magic but, I'm sure any brand you try will be good.

You can also use these markers on acetate and aluminum foil and the colors really pop then.
