Chalk Pastels

I don't like chalk pastels. They are very different from oil pastels. they are not creamy and delightful to use.

I actually get the chills when using them.

They remind me of my not so wonderful elementary school years when there was a blackboard and chalk grating against the board.

If the background of the paper is wet then it is a better experience for me but, as a very sensory person I just can't enjoy these chalk pastels.
