Tempera Paint Sticks

It says that these Tempera paint sticks are for kids but, don't let that stop you.

They are an absolute delight to use as they are creamy and cover lots of space quickly.

They are very similar to the gelatos and distress crayons I used as well in a different post.

I started out with this activity using only warm colors. Red, pin, yellow and gold. As I was getting to the end of the page I decided tit needed  a pop of something so I added 2 blues as well.

This a a very freeing material and it would probably work great on large piece of paper. You can even use rolls of shelving paper. It allows you to really move your arms in wide circles and very freely.
